If you’re hoping to get the kids ready to go back to school, going somewhere that mixes entertainment with learning opportunities could be the perfect middle ground—and with that in mind, there’s no better place to spend the day than the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center in Topeka. With exhibits centered around science, career exploration and art as well as an outdoor 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom—you’ll never be disappointed when you make the trip to Topeka. As long as you’re already in the area—for a little extra excitement the whole family will surely be intrigued by, the Evel Knievel Museum is definitely a spot to add to your list.
